What do families say about Like Arrows Learning Center…

Finding childcare is not an easy task. Parents spend lots of time researching centers and care options that will best meet the needs of their family. At LALC, we encourage prospective families to visit area centers, meet with caregivers and ask the tough questions! We recognize that our policies and center structure may not always best meet the specific needs of your family and that is ok! No two families are the same and only you know what is best for your child(ren). We align our policies according to the licensing standards of Virginia and based on our experience of what works best for our overall picture in providing group care. Regardless of which center or care option you ultimately choose, be sure to read their handbook and have a good understanding of their policies to help have a positive experience! Communication is key!

As a state licensed center we are inspected at least twice a year. These inspections are unannounced and all findings are posted on a state site for public review. The link is posted here for your convenience. The most recent compliance plan is posted in our foyer at all times.

We know in this day and age that Google Reviews are often a resource for goods and services. It can be a good and bad thing to put so much power in the hands of a sometimes finicky public. Unfortunately people will use this platform as a weapon when they are not happy with center policies and it’s just best not to engage in replies with behavior of this sort. Part of our licensing requirements are to provide opportunities for parents to give us feedback. We do this twice a year, in the fall and spring. Fall 2021

We are dedicated to providing a safe and secure atmosphere for your child. We want to see and take part in their growth and development. We are human and cannot guarantee that we won’t ever make an error but we do our best to communicate and be upfront in any situation that may arise as well as correcting and training staff appropriately. Our employees exceed the required amount of annual training each year and we do our best to tailor our professional development to help us in areas that are most relevant and critical to quality care.
